






Allie started at PJHM this year and has been working tirelessly archiving and preparing the office for the move to Laguna Niguel. She lives in San Clemente with her Husband and Boston Terrier, she loves to travel, and is very interested in photography. “I enjoy working at pjhm and happy to be a part of the team!”

Bailey graduated from Cal State San Marcos in 2009 with a BA in Liberal Studies specializing in Arts and Education. She received her teaching credential in 2010 and has always been passionate about education. It is because of this passion that she enjoys working at PJHM and loves the fact that she is part of a team that helps to create better learning environments for our California schools.

Chenoa has been with PJHM since January 1999 working in the Construction Administration department assisting Construction Project Managers during construction with the coordination of construction documents in house as well as with the consultants, contractors and the State Architect . Chenoa is also responsible for post construction DSA Closeout Coordination working to ensure project certification with the State Architect. Over the years she has also gained extensive experience and knowledge in working with county agencies such as the Health Department, which is beneficial in obtaining agency approval of our clients facilities. She attended Saddleback College and graduated with an Associate of Science Degree, majoring in Interior Design. This experience has enabled her to be of assistance to the Architects in coordinating both exterior and interior finishes of their projects.

Chris Garcia

Chris graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's of Architecture in 2003 and has been working on a variety of educational projects since 2005. He received his architecture license in 2010, and more recently LEED credentials in 2011. Chris is deeply devoted to the practice of architecture and providing the highest quality environments for our schools.

Christian Cochrun

Christian has been with PJHM for the last 6 years providing construction administration services as well has marketing and estimating. He comes from a family of construction workers and has been involved with educational construction for over 15 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California State University, Long Beach. He enjoys surfing, horseback riding and long walks on the beach at sunset. Dan Dailey graduated from Southern Utah University with a BS in Construction Management. He has been with PJHM for a total of 5 years, with 15 years experience in the field and as a professional in the construction industry. Dan Eitman is a licensed architect for PJHM, holding a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly San luis Obispo and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Having worked on a variety of projects over the past 15 years from Concept through Construction, Dan brings his knowledge of both the public and private sector to develop comprehensive solutions for our clients.

Daniel Hong

During his 15 years at PJHM Daniel has been involved in all aspects of project development, production and construction administration. His abilities to oversee the development of a project, combined with his “hands-on” approach to architecture make him an integral part of the project team. Daniel’s role is to guide and coordinate the project and project team on a daily basis.

Dave Bell

Dave has been with PJHM since 1998. He is a licensed Architect in the State of California, and is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. As a Project Manager at PJHM, Dave is typically involved in a project during the design phase, and sees it through construction documents, agency approval and construction bidding, with involvement during construction administration. Dave grew up just a few miles from PJHM's office, is married, and hopes that the Angels make it to the playoffs this year.

Derek Stemrich

Derek is a graduate from the School of Environmental Design, University of Colorado - Boulder. His seven years of project management and educational design experience have instilled in him the ability to quickly and effectively coordinate complex characteristics and incorporate specific design elements into a working construction document set. His attention to detail is unmatched, pairing nicely with an exceptional set of conceptual and communication skills centered around client involvement. Derek maintains a team approach in his projects to ensure all available solutions and opportunities are explored and discovered. Derek is also a LEED Accredited professional.

James Bucknam

James has more than 10 years experience in architecture, and has realized educational, civic, cultural, commercial and residential projects both in the United States and internationally. Technology, research and development, collaborative and sustainable design philosophies, design-build projects, interior design and furniture have paralleled his architectural practice. James is highly skilled in integral Building Information Modeling (BIM) and virtual programs/processes including Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Flash, Form Z, Lightscape, Maxwell Render and Illustrator.

Jan Hansen

Mr. Hansen has devoted his entire 48 year career in architecture to the planning, design, and construction implementation aspects of educational facilities. His significant contributions have earned him a reputation as an imaginative, distinguished design professional who provides unparalleled service to his clients. As Project Architect Jan Hansen is significantly involved with a wide range of design efforts and solutions for the firm. His leadership and direction enable the firm to consistently meet the project budget and timeline requirements for all of its clients. Mr. Hansen’s enthusiasm, imagination and dedication serve as the driving force behind the ongoing successes achieved by the design team at PJHM.

Kevin has been with PJHM for the last 10 years. As Production Manager for the office, he oversees in house production staff as well as assuring office standards are in use and quality control is held to the highest standards. His involvement with office wide production needs assures project scheduling and the highest level of production integrity are met.

Kristie Nelsen

Kristie graduated from the University in Michigan in 2007 with a B.S. in Architecture and obtained a LEED Accredited Professional certification and an Autodesk Revit Architecture certification. She is currently pursuing her architecture license which is scheduled to be completed in 2012. When she is not in the office or tutoring k-12 students, she is bombing down mountains on a mountain bike/snowboard, playing volleyball or surfing at the beach. Kristie loves working at PJHM because the projects they produce emphasize the importance of education and the environment.

Maryanne Smith joined the PJHM team in January 2011. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California and has over 15 years experience in the architecture field. As a mother of two boys, she has a profound interest in improving our local schools.

Nick Morrissey

Nick graduated from the University of Kansas in 2007 with a BA in Architectural Studies specializing in Mathematics. He has a background working construction and has had five years experience working in Educational Design. He became a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction in 2008 and has worked on many LEED Accredited projects. He is in the process of taking the Architect Registration Examination to become a licensed architect in the State of California.

Paul Blanchard

Paul Blanchard started with PJHM in 1996 after graduating Mission Viejo High School and worked as a drafter until the end of 1999. During a few years off from PJHM Paul received Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the California State University San Marcos in 2002 and rejoined PJHM that same year. Not long after his return Paul took over all of the technological responsibilities of the firm while also managing countless modular building projects for our clients. Since the end of 2007 Paul has been our Chief Financial Officer and he continues to manage our technology. Paul is married with two sons.

Paulina started at PJHM in September 2005. She began working in the Construction Administration department assisting in the areas of project bids, construction and general administration. Since joining Paulina has participated in a wide variety of projects and her project experience includes work in all phases of construction administration and DSA Closeout.

Shauna Salazar

Shauna started working at PJHM in 1997 and in 2000 took some time off to travel the world, receive her degree in Graphic Design, and start a family. During that time she did freelance work for companies like Universal Records and Target. In 2005 she was published in the book Panda Meat: Source Book 1 – a collection of 110 contemporary artists from around the world. She came back to PJHM in the summer of 2008 and oversees all aspects of PJHM’s print and web materials.

Tammie has two children, her son is a sophomore at University of Oregon in Eugene and is a member of the Ducks Baseball Team. Her daughter is a senior at San Clemente High School working towards becoming a Ballerina in a professional ballet company.

Tom Bardwell graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Architecture degree. He has been with PJHM for five years providing production services. He has experience providing construction document packages to DSA as well as interacting with clients and consultants. He is an actively involved volunteer in Habitat for Humanity of Orange County as a green team member, providing leadership assistance to the crew and volunteers.
