ABOUT

This facility has 2 components. One component is a library which is shared by the high school and the community/county library system. All campus text book storage and distribution as well as Career Planning also occurs within the Library portion. The library design is based on a radial plan where both internal security and external mountain views are optimized. A large 2-story north facing glazing element yields beautiful foothill views at the base of the San Jacinto peak. The other component is a “state of the art”, “black box style” performing arts theater (styled after those found on Broadway). The seating, stage and theatrical rigging can be configured in numerous ways. Scene construction shops, a green room, costume development, dressing rooms and musical practice rooms are additional spaces that surround the main theater.
